Actikerall - clinical reference
A licensed healthcare practitioner can help you understand what applies to your specific situation.
The usual adult dose of fluorouracil - salicylic acid is 1 application of the solution to the lesions, once daily. Several lesions may be treated at a time, but the area being treated should not be larger than 25 cm² (5 cm × 5 cm). A total of 10 lesions may be treated at a time.
Fluorouracil - salicylic acid should only come into contact with the lesion and a very small area of healthy skin surrounding the lesion.
Clean the affected area with warm water and wait until the skin has completely dried before applying the solution.
Actikerall comes in a bottle with a brush applicator attached to the cap. Wipe the brush on the neck of the bottle before applying it to the affected area. After applying the solution to the lesion, let the solution dry on the skin, uncovered. A white film will form over the affected area. This improves the absorption of the medication into the lesion and protects the lesion from dirt and debris. Do not cover the treatment area with any type of dressing. Before applying the next dose, peel the film off the lesion to expose it to the next dose of medication. Warm water may also help remove the film.
Do not allow Actikerall to come in contact with the eyes, the inside of the nose or mouth, or the genitals. Close the lid of the bottle tightly after using to prevent it from drying out. Do not use Actikerall if it dries out or forms any crystals.
Actikerall usually starts to work within 6 weeks. Continue to use the medication for up to 12 weeks or until the lesions have completely cleared up. It may take up to 8 weeks after stopping the medication for the lesions to completely heal.
Many things can affect the dose of medication that a person needs, such as body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications. If your doctor has recommended a dose different from the ones listed here, do not change the way that you are taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
It is important to use Actikerall exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
If you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one. If you are not sure what to do after missing a dose, contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
Store Actikerall at room temperature, protect it from light and moisture, and keep it out of the reach of children. Actikerall is flammable. Keep it away from fire or flames. If there is any medication left in the bottle 3 months after opening it, safely discard the remaining medication.
Do not dispose of medications in wastewater (e.g. down the sink or in the toilet) or in household garbage. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medications that are no longer needed or have expired.
In addition to its desired action, this medication may cause some adverse effects, notably: it may cause local pain; it may cause inflammation at the site where the medication is used; it may make your skin more sensitive to UV rays (e.g., sunlight, tanning lamps) - avoid exposure to UV rays as much as possible and protect yourself when out in the sun; it may cause local irritation. Each person may react differently to a treatment. If you think this medication may be causing adverse effects (including those described here, or others), talk to your health care professional. He or she can help you to determine whether or not the medication is the source of the problem.
Each 1 mL of clear, colourless to slightly orange-white solution contains 0.5% fluorouracil and 10% salicylic acid. Nonmedicinal ingredients: dimethyl sulfoxide, ethanol, ethyl acetate, pyroxyline, poly(butyl metacrylate, methyl methacrylate).

I reached out to a Pocketpills regarding some issues I was experiencing with my skin. The pharmacist assisting me got back to me within the hour. She was helpful in suggesting remedies and providing instructions. The prescription was filled instantaneously. The entire process was perfect - amazing communication, live updates through text, phone and email. The reminders were extremely helpful. Delivery was efficient and seamless. I felt cared for every step of the way. Thank you for everything

This is our first time experience of using Pocketpills. It was very convenient to prescribe the acne medication with pharmacist, rather than to have a long wait with a doctor. Thank you for the fast delivery and service!
Very reliable with fast shipping! The app is easy to use, fees are fair, and there is excellent communication! Highly recommend.

I got my prescription delivered for free within 4 business days. All went smoothly which was pretty good. This was easy and I will use it again.
Great and fast service. It's cheaper and easier than going to a pharmacy.
Time is the currency of life. Pocketpills gives me my time back. 100% recommend!
Super easy, lower prices, real Dr review. The pharmacist even reached out to me about my dosage. I feel very comfortable and well looked after by people who seem to actually care. It's been a great experience. So much so that I've recommended Pocket Pills to my friends and family.
Fast delivery even before estimated delivery date. Its great not having to go to a physical pharmacy. I highly reccommend pocketpills

I really, really appreciate this service, it makes staying on top of my medication so much easier. The team has also always been kind and helpful to me in every interaction I've had. The free shipping is incredibly nice, they keep me informed about the shipping process for my medication, and they manage my refills and contact my doctor if necessary. It takes a lot of little stresses off my plate, especially as someone with ADHD who is not the best at managing these little stresses. The app is also nicely organized and easy to use, and I can communicate with a pharmacist through text or call whenever I need. Not to be dramatic, but Pocket Pills has genuinely improved my life!
Pocketpill makes it easy and efficient to ship and deliver on time. Medication shouldn't be a source of stress - something Pocketpill seems to understand
I received all my prescriptions as promised, delivered straight to my door. So much easier than it ever has been to get my pills. Thanks!

Very fast and efficient service. They are good at communicating with you about your needs. Very helpful and supportive
